Optionally, you can use Fuel Log trial versions for free. Go ahead and download the date limited trial version every two months or so. We just ask that you return the favour by telling us your impressions on how it can be improved (by email or phone).

Free Updates

When you register, you will get free updates until the next major version. That is, registering 2.0 will give you access to 2.1, 2.2, etc. If large improvements are made and version 3.0 is released, licensed users of version 2.x can upgrade at a discount.

Get your Activation Code

When paying, specify your Palm HotSync user name. Case is significant in the user name -- "John Smith" is not the same thing as "john smith". Check the HotSync program's window (at the top right corner) to be sure.

Also specify an email address where you want to receive your activation code. We will send a message which should not get trapped by most spam filters, but if there is a problem you may want to check your 'filtered' folder.

Details

The activation code is not case sensitive, and the hyphens can be omitted, so for an example, ABCD-2345-EFGH can be entered as abcd2345efgh.

The activation code is not tied to one PDA, so you can use it when you get a new Palm PDA. If you have several PDA's, it can be used with all of them. If the Fuel Log application is lost for any reason, you can download again and activate using same key. If your key gets lost, there is a $5 charge to get a new one.
