North Country Public Radio in the U.S. provides good coverage of news affecting us. They favour individual liberty, which is welcome if you have been listening to CBC. They broadcast good music and general interest talk shows on FM 89.5 from northern New York state, and have been required by the CRTC to reduce their transmission power so it will not interfere with a reserved frequency in Deseronto. Who knows whether CRTC will ever use that frequency in Deseronto. I am in Ottawa, and Deseronto is not even in the same direction! CRTC needs to remove the restriction on NCPR.
